Jimmy Neutrón (1998)

James Isaac Neutron, popularly known as Jimmy Neutron, is a fictional character starring in the popular 2000s series The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: The Genius Child, who also starred in a film of the same name that premiered in 2002 in North America. It is the character on which the series focuses.

The character was created by John A. Davis and debuted in a 1998 short called Runaway Rocketboy, which was the only pilot episode of that year. He is still regarded as a cult character from Nickelodeon.

Jimmy's full name is James Isaac Neutron, which can be seen when his mother calls him. His father calls him Jimbo, and his enemy Cindy (who loves him in secret) sometimes calls him Nerdtron. His two best friends are Carl Wheezer and Sheen Estevez.

It has a large IQ of 210; despite this, almost all of his inventions give rise to accidents that he himself must solve. His birthday is March 14 (3.14 in the U.S., Pi Day).1

He's 12 years old. Its name is inspired by scientists such as James Chadwick and Isaac Newton. He lives in Retroville with his robot dog, Goddard (named after Robert H. Goddard, a pioneer in modern rocketry) and with his parents, Hugh Neutron, a clumsy car salesman and lover of ducks and lemon cakes, and Judy Neutron.

Appearance

Jimmy has too big a head, has blue eyes and his hair is brown and ice cream cone-shaped. They often mess with him at school (especially Cindy and the "bullies") because of his intelligence. Jimmy always wears a red T-shirt with the symbol of an atom, blue jeans and white sneakers, unlike the film and the pilot chapter that wore white T-shirts with red stripes, blue shorts and brown shoes. In a number of episodes, his schoolmates are upset and angry at Jimmy's brilliance of dealing, to win science projects and contests (in fact, Jimmy has been suspended for life from the science fair to give normal children a real chance). He, in his spare times, creates inventions, and sometimes problematic, designs his wild inventions to help him deal with tasks that cause him discomfort, however inventions tend to have a defect (usually caused by an obvious oversight) that result in a catastrophe that only he can solve.

Personality

Jimmy is quite sweet and cheerful, and very mature for his age, though sometimes he can be a little arrogant. Occasionally it is usually easy to irritate, although this only happens because of the relationships it carries with characters like Cindy or Sheen when it bothers him. He likes to play the hero and be 'the good one', often taking a firm stand against anyone who thinks he's bad. He will not back down his beliefs as he firmly believes in himself. Jimmy is very charming when he at least tries to be, as at the party, who throws himself into the absence of his parents in the first few episodes. He is also a person with a good heart and good feelings, always trying to protect his parents and friends.

Description

Jimmy's religious beliefs are uncertain. While he celebrates Christmas (as seen in the series Christmas special) and other holidays, he could be said to be Catholic or Christian. However, these songs are rarely played on the show, due to their viewers.

Among his most successful inventions are Goddard, a time machine, and nanobots. Candy is usually the basis of inventions, which include neutron air rubber, which allow humans to breathe underwater, the rubber that allows books to be memorized, and sweets, which satisfies all the taste buds of the tongue. After eating sweets for example, humans develop a physiological need (addiction) for it. He also made inventions that help with transportation, the most frequently employed being his flying rocket called Strato XL or the hovercraft.

In the video games where he appears, he makes several inventions, similar to the series.

Jimmy's best friends are Carl Wheezer and Sheen Estevez. They can't be as smart as Jimmy, but they're very loyal to him. They are willing to help Jimmy as much as possible although, other times, they simply cause trouble, accompany him on his wild adventures and end up in trouble. Although Jimmy also often has friends, who are Libby Folfax and Cindy Vortex, but with them she has a much more bittersweet relationship. They constantly get upset with Jimmy when his inventions cause problems. However, they almost always participate in Jimmy's adventures and help him save the day.

Hey, Arnold

Hey, Arnold! (originally in English: Hey, Arnold!) it is an American animated series, produced by the Nickelodeon network, which shows, broadly speaking, the life of a 9-year-old boy in the suburbs of a town in which he lives; Arnold, along with his friends, is in fourth grade at 118th Public School in Hillwood City, a large fictional city located in Washington state, but mixes elements from Brooklyn, New York, Seattle, and even London.
Arnold's a very smart kid with a strange football-shaped
head. Live in a multi-ethnic neighborhood, whose strategic location offers endless possibilities of adventure. He is a dreamer who likes baseball and lives with his grandparents.1 While at the beginning of the series Arnold was a carefree nine-year-old boy, and with typical childhood problems, he became more mature in the following seasons having to deal with more complex problems. At the same time, Helga's secret love for Arnold begins to take on greater importance in the series, where he may be seen in poetic soliloquies expressing feelings toward him, which he is never able to formulate publicly. to keep up appearances, Helga chooses to systematically insult Arnold, pejoratively alluding to the ball shape that has his head. Arnold lives together daily with his friends and classmates, each with completely different personalities and families. Despite the show's children's tone, he touches on important topics such as Helga's neglect of his bad parents, Arnold's own nostalgia for not remembering his own, as well as the importance of courage, trust, honesty and sincerity.

Arnold! takes place in the fictional American city, called Hillwood. Creator Craig Bartlett stated in an interview that the city is based on the big cities in the north of the country, including Seattle (his hometown), Portland, Oregon (where he went to art school) and New York City (many points of interest borrowed). Bartlett, having grown up in Seattle, the foundation of many of the show's events, in his own experience of growing up in the city. The Pig War mentioned in an episode with the same title took place on the boundaries between what is now washington state and the Province of British Columbia, Canada.
In many episodes of the first season, the Brooklyn Bridge is seen as an important landmark in the
city. Other episodes show an overview of New York on the horizon, with the Empire State Building, Central Park and the World Trade Center suggesting that Hillwood could be a Brooklyn or Queens neighborhood. Also according to a list of public elementary schools in New York, PS 118 is a school in St. Albans, which is a residential community in the New York neighborhood of Queens. In addition, in the episode "Eugene Bike", Arnold and Eugene visit Quigley Stadium, which is in West Haven, Connecticut, and was home to the West Haven Yankees from 1972-1979. West Haven is just north of New York. However, the stadium used in the series bears no resemblance to the current Quigley stadium.
