Currently, the rights to the series belong to Warner Bros., when they bought the Lorimar television channel in 1989.

Synopsis

Rankin / Bass following his success in Thundercats created this series about a team of heroes in the XXIX century that were made with metal bodies and wings to fight organized crime in the Galaxy of El Limbo.

Captain Telescope recruited the Galactic Falcons to fight Monster, an alien who can transform into metal armor with the help of the Limbo Moon Star in the Transformation chamber. The famous phrase of Monster is "Lunar Star of Limbo: Give me the Force, the Power, the Faculty of Being Invincible!", It also has the help of the galactic mafia: Slave, Baron Sierra, Bucephalus, Gale, The Wizard Chronos, Molecular, Playing Card, Gunner and Melodía's musical madness.

Galactic Falcons: their leader Silver Ray and their companion Watcher Falcon, the invincible super twins Acerino and Acerina, with heart, soul and spirit of steel, Vaquero, the guitarist and star pilot of his incredible ship the Specter, and the planet of the mimes, the Copper Child. Captain Telescope who leads the team from their Halconia orbiting headquarters.

Characters

The Galactic Falcons

Commander Stargazer

The chief of the Galactic Falcons, he was the one who originally locked Monster in the Penal Planet, but having escaped, he had to recruit the Falcons to fight Monster and the Gang. It has gold bionic parts implanted in its body and its left eye is like a small telescope.

Quicksilver

He is the team leader, paired with Hawk Watcher, a cyber hawk, a retired member of the Federal Interplanetary Forces. Silver Ray has the rank of Lieutenant, he is the one who generally plans strategies, tactics and gives orders. He is very smart, fast and athletic. Their cybernetics are silver in color.

Bluegrass

He is the pilot of the Ghost ship. He has an electric guitar that he also uses as a weapon, shooting a lightning bolt in the shape of a pentagram with musical notes. He is the only one on the team who does not have wings, shoulder lasers, or heel spurs. His suit is light blue (and his legs are designed to look like boots), in addition to wearing a cowboy hat and a scarf around his neck.

Steelheart & Steelwill

They are brothers, share a psionic bond, and can perceive what they feel about each other, in addition to communicating telepathically. They both possess tremendous physical strength that they use against their opponents. They are also the only ones who have metallic hearts, because their organic hearts rejected the process that transformed them into Galactic Falcons. Their suits are dark blue. De Acerino highlights its helmet in the shape of an American football.

Copper Kid

Mathematical genius boy, originally from the planet of mimes. It communicates through whistles and a voice synthesizer, so we assume it was originally dumb. He also appears at the end in almost every episode learning astronomy lessons, being an example of study for children. Her outfit is copper red.

Tally Hawk

It is a cybernetic bird companion to Silver Ray, who controls it through a device on his wrist. Perform espionage and report to the Galactic Falcons.

Hotwing

An African American Galactic Falcon. He is a magician with supernatural powers, which must be recharged every 14 years. In the Mexican translation the first time it was presented as "Indómito" (in the chapter "Hotwing hits Limbo" chap 21). Her outfit is golden yellow.

Flashback

A galactic hawk capable of time travel (usually into the past). He wears a green suit, and is the only one whose face is never seen since he always appears with his helmet on. His first appearance is in chapter 40.

Moon Stryker

The last galactic hawk to reach the Limbo galaxy. To fly, you typically make an air cyclone with a high-speed rotating device located at your waist. It also has wings, but rarely uses them. Her suit is turquoise green with a yellow helmet. His first appearance is in chapter 57.

Condor

An old friend of Captain Telescope, who retired from the Galactic Falcon Academy to work on his own years ago. It does not have its own wings, so it has to use a "jetpack". Her outfit is brown. He is the only Galactic Falcon (other than Captain Telescope) who always wears clothing. His first appearance is in chapter 57.
